Hi everyone!

My name is Nat - welcoming you to BOOMLA Designs! This is something that I have wanted to explore for years and I figure it’s now or never!  How did I come up with the name for my shop you might ask? Well, when I was 10 years old, I heard the chant song “Boom Shakalaka” when trying out for cheerleading (the first and last time I would ever try out for it - ha!) Needless to say I did not make the cut, but the song stayed in my head for years to come, and when anything exciting is happening in my life I hear that song pop up in my head! So it only made sense to me to come up with something that reminds of that chant.  

 

I am very excited to being doing this!! Especially excited to be teaming up with my husband, AP from the Dope Fiends Comics, as we work together to bring you awesome wearable artwork that you can enjoy wearing just as much as we enjoy making them. We are starting off by selling our handmade jewelry and plan to add more artwork to sell in the future!  

 

The past year has been particularly challenging for everyone, and for me - sometimes just putting on a set of earrings, necklace, or bracelet on has a way of lifting my spirits. We hope you can get the same sense of hope and wellbeing from our items.
